Registration is now open for the London Book Fair, which will take place from April 18–20. A preliminary schedule of speakers and seminars for the fair's main Stage has also been released.

One of the highlights will be the keynote address given by HarperCollins' president and chief executive officer, Brian Murray, who will launch the main Stage's programming on April 18. He will explore current developments in the book business in his session, "Shaping the Business and the Art of the Book Industry."

An array of panel discussions on topics like the future of the global publishing industry, the cost of living crisis and how inflation affects publishing, global copyright challenges, book-to-screen adaptations, sustainability in book publishing, luring the next generation of publishing professionals, the development of independent publishing, and more will follow.

Gareth Rapley, the recently hired director of the London Book Fair, said, "The main stage was a popular addition to the Fair last year, and I'm happy that we can present another fascinating and wide range of conversations to the London Book Fair 2023." We are proud to present a group of influential people from the business this year, including worldwide publishing companies, independent publishers, writers who have sold millions of copies of their books, booksellers, and media executives.

The debate and conversation that will take place on the Main Stage are not to be missed, and we are eager to learn from and benefit from the ideas of this elite group of speakers from across the world.
